Feel the Passion of Living in Prague

Oh, where to start extolling the passions of Prague?  Well, saying that Prague has captivated and continues to captivate visitors and expatriates is a good start.  Indeed, many a visitor has chosen to remain in Prague for a longer time as a willing captive to its wiles, charms and beauty, all because the people and the places of Prague speak of one thing - passion for life despite the hardships in the way. 

For the adrenaline junkies, Prague offers the passion of a daring life, of taking risks to the edge, and of living life on the edge albeit in a good way.  Visitors and residents are welcome to fun stuff such as white water rafting, quad-biking, go-karting, and shooting machine guns.  This is Prague, after all, so don't be surprised about the sports choices.

Shopaholics may find Prague to be of lesser value in terms of shopping choices but the choices are still there.  Keep in mind that the country itself was a communist one with very little emphasis on capitalism. 

Still, despite the limitations, you cannot fault the people of Prague to shop with a passion for the available goods in their midst.  You can still find famous Western stores alongside local shops selling souvenir items of glass and wood and specialist outlets.  And don't forget that there is an eager market for communist memorabilia, which are selling like the proverbial hotcakes although their provenance may be in doubt. 

Fortunately, the bars, nightclubs and pubs in Prague offer more variety than its shopping choices.  Everybody can mingle, meet friends, and enjoy themselves in the company of others in the many drinking and eating venues in the city, which can range from the old wooden styles to the more modern funky chrome. 

The party starts at about 10 PM and then winds up at 4 AM the following morning, with plenty of options for bar-hopping.  Drink the national beverage - Czech beer - and know why it has the well-deserved reputation of being the best in the world. 

You probably will not want to stop partying and living the good life in Prague but at some point your tired body will scream for rest.  Well, you had better book your accommodation Prague through an online reservation site!  You want to be assured that indeed you have a place to stay for the night (or the day, for that matter) instead of becoming a bum in Prague. 

Of course, Prague will not be Prague if not for its vibrant entertainment industry especially in theater and music.  You can choose from a wide array of concert halls, cool rock places, state-of-the-art cinemas and theaters, all of which attest to the fact that in Prague, culture is the center of life for the city. 

When in Europe, you must not skip the passions of Prague.  It may be a little-visited city but it is slowly but surely gaining its fair share of admirers, all because the people of Prague are passionate about their city.  And so will you be when you are part of its pulsing life!
