Find a Place to Stay in Prague

When it comes to culture, arts and tourism in Central Europe, Prague is one of the top city destinations.  Its sights and sound especially the fascinating architecture from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance to Gothic and Neo-Classical to ultra-modern are well worth the visit, even for just a day.  If you will not be enamored of its friendly people, vibrant nightlife and varied dining, shopping and entertainment options that you will want to stay for weeks at a time, that is.

Ways in Finding

For a day or for a year, staying in Prague means that you have to find the most comfortable accommodation you can find depending on your budget.  Book your holiday apartments Prague online before going to Prague so as to save on time, effort and money.  The least desirable way would be to scour the city looking at the various types of accommodations.  You will be offered high-end hotel rooms, if you can afford them.  If you are on a budget, you can always go directly to the landlords of apartments for rent, staff of hostels and owners of bed and breakfasts.

Where to Find

Fortunately for visitors, the accommodations of Prague can be found all over the city.  Keep in mind, however, that the costs of accommodations often vary depending on the location.  Amenities and facilities also come into the equation.  For example, the 4- and 5-star hotels in the Prague 1 district are definitely on the premium side while those on the Prague 2, 4 and 5 districts are more affordable but with almost similar hotel services.  You may be able to save as much as $100 every night on luxurious accommodations if you choose the latter option.

You can also find a good network of hostels and apartment buildings that offer affordable rates with sufficient service to make your stay in Prague relatively comfortable.  When choosing from apartment buildings, try to assess if it is near transportation hubs or within walking distance of the tourist attractions to save on time and money.

You may also choose accommodations based on your needs aside from the available budget.  For example, the Mala Strana district is suitable for travelers who desire little traffic and, hence, more peace and quiet.  But with its good selections of pubs and restaurants, you need not go far to enjoy fine dining and nightly entertainment.

If you stay in the Stare Mesto district, the streets are noisy but the excitement is definitely in the air.  If you are up for a steep climb every day in exchange for an undeniably enchanting atmosphere, then look for accommodations in the area around the Prague Castle.

Visitors are advised to lean a few Czech phrases in order to negotiate for prices especially in the smaller establishments.  The language barrier can be difficult to triumph over and it is often the job of the visitor to adjust to the language instead of the other way around.  Other than that, the accommodation in Prague are the best in Central Europe that you will ever enjoy.
